the gold coast

This weekend my family went to the Gold Coast. The city is full of high rises and stuning buildings we stayed at a great hotel. It had a rooftop pool, the hotel was right beside the beach and when you are in the pool you can look across the ocean. On the second day me and my uncle got surfing leasons. It was incredible, I was getting the hang of it, the teacher was a bit wako he ate, breathed and drank surfing, he was from California U.S.A.he said he had been all around Australia checking out all the beach spots. "beach bum".On the third day we went to a canopy walk in O" Rileys,it was an elevated walk, the bridge thing was swaying to and fro, the beams were shaking. It was sooo high up and just befor you get on the bridge there is this huge strangler fig you know those vines that wrap around a tree untill it kills it thats what its like but insted of just killing it it suffocates it and then slowly takes its place. But the one there was completly empty all the way to the top.You could see a tiny distant light way up high where the top of the tree was I climbed inside and took a few pics. On the fourth day we went to this really nice reastaurant right on the beach. you could see all the surfers surfing on huge waves. I thought to my self that must be hard. Then we drove back that day this entire time I was sick withe the flu am still sick now.
